Positioned only a short 10 minute walk away from the town centre and a 5-minute walk from West Suffolk Hospital, Orchard House on Petticoat Lane comprises of 10 luxury apartments with secure off-road parking, landscaped grounds, and a floor to ceiling glass link.

Originally, this plot was home to a detached single dwelling with large private gardens. After purchasing the site, we removed the existing property and excavated the site. It was over the course of the next 12 months that we built the 8,500sqft building you see today. The scheme combined two separate buildings joined by a bespoke glass link. This link not only adds architectural flair but also helped create a light and spacious communal area to house a custom lift with floating wrap around staircase.

Each of the 760 sqft units are identical and finished to a very high standard. We also created small outdoor spaces for each of the apartments. The ground floor units are equipped with large slate tiled terraces, whilst the 6 units across the first and second stories are fitted with glazed balconies. The whole site is serviced by 18 car parking spaces, 2 of which are supplied with electric charging points.

This development was completed in early 2020.

The building underwent a complete internal redesign and refit as well as an extensive external restoration over the course of 6 months.

All 5 units have been finished to extremely high standards offering the residents of Bury St Edmunds an opportunity to experience luxury, contemporary and spacious town centre living.
